Thirty years in high-end construction and restoration taught me what to look for. I look at structure, water and systems, the things that turn into five-figure problems, and I tell you what I see. This is not a home inspection, so hire a licensed home inspector before you buy.

When you are selling, I will tell you which projects to skip, including the ones that would have raised my own commission. When you are buying, I will tell you what worries me.

Before you commit to a plan for a property, you should know what the town actually allows. That is why I built a zoning information service for my clients, with the research laid out in plain language.

I stay involved through closing on every Connecticut and New York transaction. When your move takes you somewhere else, I connect you with a licensed agent in that market and stay in touch through your closing. I am not licensed there and do not act as your agent there.
